Cold day must haves

Image
It has been such a weird weather here in Estonia at the moment - some days it's freezing cold and on other days it's warm and raining. However I have wanted to do a blog post about my cold day must haves for an ages. Whenever it's like cold cold day I prefer staying inside as much as I can and just have a super cosy day. So here are some of my favourite things and poducts I like. Tea - I have never been a hugh fan of tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc, but past year I've got obsessed with tea. My favourite is just two slices of lemon in hot water. It just so tasty. I also like to have green tea ocasionally in the mornigs or peppermint tea in the evenings. So in a cold day same sort of hot drink is a must have - just have the one you like. Another category is clothes. I just like to have my comfy clothes on. Just a pair of joggers, a jumper or sweatshirt and some thick and cosy socks. My feet can get so cold and that's not even funny how ridiculously cold.  O

BYS Highlighting trio

Image
I have had this trio for awhile, but I haven't got around to make a post about it. First I saw it in someone's video and instantly fell in love and then I saw it in the shop I instantly bought it. In case you are from Estonia, then I bought it from Kaubamaja.  This trio has three shades a basic matte powder, a shimmery gols and a shimmery rose gold shade. I haven't used the matte shade, because I don't use matte highlighters in general, but I think it would just be nice as a powder in case you are pale as me. I'm always meant to do it, but by the time I grab this palette I've already used my regular powder.  However the shimmery shades are gorgeous. They're so pigmented and so finely milled, so it just gives most gorgeous sheen to the skin. For me it's really intense highlighter, unless I use it with really really light hand. Beacause of that I don't reach for it as much, because it's too much highlighter for every day basis. Howeve

Lip oils

Image
During the winter time my lips are always chapped. Usually I prefer matte lips over glossy ones, but in winter I tend to wear glossy lips more. Couple of months ago I got Essence prettifying lip oil in the shade 01 I care for you, honey. They have three shades - yellow, pink and red, but they are really subtle. Mine is yellow and then I swatched it on my hand I kind of saw the yellow tint in it, but I can't see it on the lips. I think other shades might have more tint in them, but I don't know. It's pretty much like a clear lip gloss and it also feels a lots as a lip gloss, but I can definitely feel and see it moisturising my lips. I absolutely love it and for now I have used the whole thing up. We don't have it here in Estonia, but I picked mine up from Finland. I can't remember the price of it, but I think it's 2-3 euros. Highly recommend it. As I loved Essence lip oil so much I decided to pick up Catrice Luxury lips Intensive care gloss in

2016 beauty favourites

Image
On Sunday I posted my 2016 makeup faves and as I said in that post I also have so many oher beauty products I really would like to share with all of you.  Let's start up with skincare. Neutrogena visibly clear range was a hugh saver for my skin in 2016. I had a lot of breakouts on my skin through 2016 and this range helped my skin a lots. I specifically like oil free moisturiser and cream wash from this range. I made a separate post about them, so I'll just leave the link here. As my skin has been dry yet spotty sometimes I've been liking Beauty formulas exfoliating facial scrub a lot. It has a tea tree in it and it's quite gentle scrub. Also doesn't dry my skin out, but gets rid off all of the dead skin. Tea tree oil in general has been a hugh favourite of mine. It really doesn't matter what brand you have, but just tea tree oil. As I said I've went through some nasty breakouts and tea tree oil was another product what really saved my s

2016 makeup favourites

This year I actually decided to switch up my yearly faves comparing to last year. Last year I had my absolute faves in every single category, but this year there are more than just one product in some categories as I just couldn’t choose one product. Last year I also was very strict with the amount of time I had used the product, most of the products in the 2015 faves were ones I used from the beginning of the year. This year I just have the products I have loved a lots throughout the year – some from the beginning of the year and others from the second part of the year. Last year I only had makeup faves, but this year I have so many other beauty products I also would like to share with all of you. However this will be a separate post as this one would be too long.  So finally about my 2016 makeup faves. I’ll do it in order as I would apply them into my face. Primer: There was one primer what really stand out for me this year and it was Maybelline Baby skin Instant fatique blur
