October faves

Image
It's time to post my 112th blogpost. I haven't post anything in here for an ages, but today is the day then I really feel for doing it again. I decided to write a little about my October faves. I originally was calling this post to my current faves, but then realized it's already the end of October. I've also missed sharing my faves with you a lots. So here they come. First of all this brush from Aliexpress. In case you have pale skin like I do, a duo-fiber brush is a must for bronzer and blush. It doesn't grab much product plus it helps to blend everything so well. Now this specific one is really cheap but I've washed it multiple times and I used it every single day and I don't have any problems with it. I think it was just 1 or 2 USD. Just search for duo fiber brush and you should find one. I have 2 of these and I absolutely love them. Secondly Essence the false lashes mascara. My favourite thing about this is how light it is. Whenever I u...

June faves

Image
Hi long time, no post. However it’s time for June favourites. This time I didn’t like many new things, I’m still into my April and May faves. This Catrice contour kit is still my absolute favourite. I mean that highlight though, absolutely obsessed with. In June I got the Essence longlasting lipstick in the shade 07 Natural beauty. I have had my eye on this specific shade for awhile, but it just felt a little too pink for my liking. Have to admit I was wrong, I have been reaching for this one since I got it. I like  these Essence lipstick in general. They’re not that long lasting, because they’re really creamy. However this is  the reason why I like them. I really like the matte liquid lipsticks, but as they can be quite drying, these creamy ones are great change for those. I also have to talk about my P2 powder. It is my absolute favourite powder. It’s not cakey at all and it’s so finely milled. My face is so smooth after using it.  It’s the only powder I like...

Rimmel Natural bronzer

Image
A bronzer has been a staple product for me from the begging of the time then I started to wear makeup. Most likely it's because I'm so pale and the bronzer just adds some color to my face.  This Rimmel bronzer is really soft and creamy in texture. Also super easy to blend and the formula isn't to powdery which I find a lot of drugstore bronzers tend to be. This bronzer has some shimmer in it, but it's natural on the cheeks (as name says - natural bronzer). This product isn't for contouring, it's just your typical bronzer for adding some warmth to your face. I have two of this Rimmel bronzer - firstly in the shade 021 Sun light and also 026 Sun kissed. I haven't seen the second shade from the shops so maybe that specific shade is discontinued. The most popular shade is 022 Sun bronze. As I said earlier all of them has this worm undertone in it. Then I searched for the pictures online for deciding what shade I like the shade 021 Sun light looked quite...

Maybelline Color Whispers

Image
I have had these Maybelline Color Whispers for awhile and in my opinion they are the best for summer. They're kind of like tinted lip balms, but you can build them up quite a lot. Now I'm not 100% sure there you can pick them up, because they're not in regular Maybelline stand, but at the same time I've still seen them in shops. If you can pick them up then do, just because these are such an easy lip products. As they're more on the sheer side you can apply them easily without a mirror. By saying these are sheer I have to admit that some of them are more sheer than others, it really depends from the specific shade. I have five of these in total and I like all of them. Some are more in my comfort zone than others.  I also like the packaging, it's simple and pretty. Also these does not have a strong scent like the Maybelline Color sensational ones. About the shades. First 130 Pink possibilties. It's a bubble gum pink, but on my lips it's s...

Makeup Revolution Iconic 3

Image
Last summer I ordered some items from Makeup Revolution including this Iconic 3 palette. It's meant to be a dupe for Urban Decay Naked 3 palette.  These pink shades are really out of my comfort zone. I often try do use it but then still go back to my neutrals. I mean these shades are wearable but my makeup skills are not good enough for working with pink shades. I just end up looking ill. :) Abouy packaging - it's really simple but I have nothing bad to say about it as it's still going strong and I haven't had any issues with it. It also comes with a duo ended sponge brush what I personally don't use. About eye shadows. There are some mattes, shimmers and metallics. The most difficult is to work with metallics as they have a lot of fall out. So working with metallic ones - the key is to start with eye makeup otherwise shimmer particules end up everywhere.  No as this palette is meant to be a dupe for Naked 3 I feel I kind of can't blame Makeup...

My summer

Image
Hellllooooo!!! It's going to be another chatty blog post as I tried to make some blog pictures and they just didn't work out. I dislike it a lots when this happens but what can I do. So instead of beauty related post I'm going to write a little about my summer. As you know or might not know most of my time goes to university but at the moment I just finished my semester and now it's going to be 3 months off. I also am already working which means I'm having 4 days at work and then 4 days off. At the moments I have two days done and two to go. So my work schedule might start to have affect my blog schedule but hopefully not. I'm working til the beginning of August and then having full month off from uni and work. The reason I went to work for the summer is just to earn some of my own money.  As I said I'm going to have four days off so I actually can still do different things and go to different places. I'm drying to have my camera more with me just...

May faves

Image
I just posted my April faves, but I also really wanted to share some other bits as well what I enjoyed using in May. So here are my May faves. First of all Rimmel wake me up foundation, mine is in the shade 010 light porcelain. In case you have oily skin or you're not a fan of dewy foundation it's not for you. But I freaking love it. It's a medium coverage foundation. If I swatch it to my hand, my hand looks shimmery, but on my face it's just that lovely sheen. Then I bought it and so the swatch on my hand, it was instant regret purchase. I just thought like what is it, too shimmery for my liking, but on my face it's not like it at all. It was pretty much the only foundation I used in May and I'm a little obsessed with foundations so I have plenty of them. By using just this one, it says quite a bit for me. Also if you're pale like me, you're going to love this shade. At the moment it's a little t light for me and this is the thing that never happ...
